Recruitment agency licensing in Poland

Licensing authority: The marshal of the voivodeship (marszalek wojewodztwa), acting through the regional labour office, enters employment agencies in the register of employment agencies (KRAZ). The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy publishes the register data.2,4,3

How to check an agency in Poland

The register of employment agencies is public under article 308 of the 2025 labour market act. The Ministry gives free electronic access to KRAZ data through the STOR system at stor.praca.gov.pl, and Infor.pl gives the KRAZ search address in STOR.4,3,5

Who needs a licence

Poland uses registration, not a licence. An entity that intends to run an employment agency must apply in writing for entry in the register, according to the government Zielona Linia service. Infor.pl says job placement, personnel advice, career guidance and temporary work services may be provided only after entry in KRAZ.2,5

Licence conditions

The fee for a certificate confirming entry in KRAZ is 200 zloty, according to Zielona Linia.2
